Wow, I could not comprehend how wonderful and special this time was until I had my own kids. I just love the simplicity of a baby on a blanket on a couch or a bed or in the crib. My goal is to capture the precious little features and sleepy, dreamy cuddles of these precious little babes. During these sessions I like to prepare for 2-2.5 hours to give us plenty of time for diaper changes/ feeding/ changes of scenery and getting baby calmed, relaxed and sleepy. I usually like to shoot babies 5-14 days after birth but am happy to work with whatever works best for the family.
